A little clarity for your case journey

Understand Your USCIS API Case Data

CaseStatusTracker reads your USCIS case JSON locally in your browser and turns supplied events into a chronological timeline. It explains supported event codes, recognized status fields and timestamp differences, while marking missing information. Verify decisions through official notices.

No sign-up required. JSON stays in your browser.

How do I turn case JSON into a readable history?

Three steps. No account, uploads, or guesswork about what your timestamps prove.

  1. 01

    Get your own case JSON

Use data you already have access to. Never share your USCIS password, cookies, or access tokens.

  2. 02

    Paste it securely

Paste a case object or select a local .json file. Analysis happens on this device.

  3. 03

    Read your timeline

Review dated events, unfamiliar codes, missing fields, and possible timestamp differences.

What can I learn from my case JSON?

Your case. Your data.

JSON is processed in your browser by default.

Your pasted content and local file are used in memory for the analysis. The reader does not upload your case JSON or store it in your account.

Optional case saving requires a separate review and explicit consent. A detailed report is an optional one-time purchase; review your preview before deciding to pay.

Where should I verify my official case status?

Use USCIS Case Status Online and your official notices to verify case information. This independent reader only organizes the data you supply.

This official resource is for case-status verification. It does not document our account-import links or establish the meaning of internal event codes.

Before you begin

What should I know before analyzing my case?

Is this an official USCIS service?

No. CaseStatusTracker is independent and is not affiliated with USCIS or the U.S. government. Check official USCIS notices and tools for case decisions.

Can this tell me when my case will be approved?

No. Event codes and timestamps cannot establish an approval date, approval probability, or internal processing stage.

What does a silent update mean here?

It means a record update timestamp is later than the latest reliable event timestamp in the data you supplied. The difference alone does not explain why a record changed.

Do I need to pay or sign in?

No. Reading JSON, viewing the timeline, and checking timestamp differences are free and available without registration. Saving a case or preparing a private report requires sign-in and consent. Detailed reports are optional paid purchases.

General information only. Visit USCIS.gov for official information, or use official case status tools. Read our data reading guides before interpreting your timeline.
