How do I read my USCIS case JSON?

Paste or import your own JSON, choose Analyze free preview, then review the event timeline and warnings. The free analysis runs locally; saving or purchasing a report is optional.

  1. Choose data you are authorized to view

Use your own case JSON. Remove passwords, cookies, tokens and identity documents before pasting. Do not share USCIS login credentials.

  2. Paste JSON or choose a local file

Provide a case object or an object containing it under data. For a detailed timeline, events must be an array. A supported status-only export can be read with reduced detail. The reader accepts up to 1 MB and 2,000 events.

  3. Analyze and inspect the result

Choose Analyze free preview. Review the event order, missing timestamps and data warnings. Unknown event codes remain unverified.

  4. Check important information with USCIS

Compare important actions with official USCIS notices and Case Status Online. A timestamp difference alone does not predict a decision.

How is a USCIS case timeline ordered?

Valid dated events are ordered chronologically in UTC. Undated records are shown separately at the end; their position does not establish when the event occurred.

  • Exact dated duplicates are collapsed; repeated undated records are retained.
  • A record creation date is not always the operation time.
  • Compare earlier and newer exports of the same case to identify newly present events; absent rows may mean incomplete data.
